Los Gatos Ballet maintains the highest of standards of education. We have established guidelines to ensure each dancer’s safety and development. Please refer to Policies and Procedures packet for all information regarding Los Gatos Ballet.

Classroom Etiquette

  1. Late arrival is distracting to both the instructor and the students. Please be prompt.
  2. Do not talk in class. Concentration is essential to learning.
  3. Before entering the building, please silence all cell phones and other electronic devices.
  4. Make checks payable to LGBP.
  5. There is a 6-student minimum to run a class. The schedule is subject to change.
  6. No gum, food or drinks are allowed in the studios.

Dress Code

There is no formal dress code for adult classes. You may wear leotard and tights or anything comfortable that is conducive to movement.

Dance attire alone is not allowed beyond the Los Gatos Ballet facilities or performance venues. Students should always wear cover-ups when leaving the building. Cover-ups should consist of tops and bottoms. Street shoes must be worn to and from the facilities, but never in the studios. Ballet shoes should never be worn outside of the studio.
